PRN Veterinarian Responsibilities

  • Create treatment plans, perform surgery and maintain the highest standards of care
  • Participation in The Pet Vet-sponsored community activities
  • Seek out new approaches, medicines and procedures
  • Assist in creating a culture of inclusion and acceptance
  • Collaborate with support staff to create an efficient and profitable practice
  • Provide mentoring duties as needed

PRN Veterinarian Qualifications

  • D.V.M. degree and completion of state licensing requirements (in good standing
  • Committed to renewing licenses, certifications, and association membership
  • Demonstration of respectful, engaging and compassionate interaction with clients and staff
  • Solid conflict resolution skills (willing to have difficult conversations) and excellent communication
  • A desire for continuing education and empirical evidence
  • Flexibility and patience in times of growth and change
  • Exotics, orthopedic, and advanced soft-tissue surgical experience a plus
